Description
Safflower — kardi — gives one of the lightest oils in the range. Mild enough to stay completely out of the way of a dish, which is exactly why kitchens across Gujarat and Maharashtra have used it for generations.
Wooden-pressed from selected safflower seeds.

Bought this after reading about wooden pressing. Genuinely different from supermarket oil.

You can tell it has not been refined to death. Tastes like the oil my mother used to buy loose.

We have switched the whole kitchen over to this. No complaints from anyone at home.

Very light and neutral. Does not interfere with the spices at all.

Good all-rounder. I use it for everything from sabzi to shallow frying.

Good quality for the price. The per-litre pricing on the bigger size makes it worth it.
